Parking Plan for 5th November 2023
Please familiarise yourself with the parking directions so that your Landmarks experience
is not marred by battling to find parking in the narrow streets of Rondebosch. There will be
NO PARKING as indicated and the traffic department will prosecute those who transgress
the rules. We have a team of Marshals who will guide you to the best available space
Directions
1. M5 Take the Kromboom Rd off-ramp. Follow directions towards the mountain and
Belvedere Road. Turn left at Traffic light T- Junction with Belvedere Rd. At the first robot
turn right into Ave de Mist and follow instruction from parking marshals into Malcolm Rd
and then parking on field at WPCC.
2. From the Southern Suburbs down Belvedere Rd and turn left into Keurboom Rd. You will
be guided onto field at WPCC. Squirrel, FairFields and Laidlaw Rds. will be closed for race traffic
3. From Main Rd/M3 make your way to Campground Road with Newlands Cricket Stadium
on the left. Cross over Palmyra into Keurboom Rd travelling towards Belvedere Rd. You will be
guided to park on Field at WPCC.
4. There is limited parking on the Mountain side of Ave de Mist. To access this travel down
Sandown Rd to Hesseldon. Turn into Hesseldon and make your way to Ave de Mist. At T-junction
turn left and you will be guided onto field at WPCC.
Ave de Mist will be closed at 6:30 to facilitate the start of the 6km fun run
Your assistance in following these instructions will ensure that your car will be safely parked and
you will get to your start in time
